Excerpts from letters we have received from past lodgers.
I lived at Riverview for 2 years, my first year was in the wing and my second was in the units, I found Riverview to be invaluable for the friendships that I have made and things I have experienced along with the wealth of local knowledge I had gained from Jackie, Kerry and my experiences with my other house mates.
I found being surrounded by a large group of people in my first year away from family and friends comforting and supporting, which made the experience feel like home with Riverview being a place to relax and get away from the sometimes stressful happenings at the uni.
I attended Latrobe University while I was at Riverview and found traveling was never an issue. With so many people car pooling is almost always an option for students that do not have a car and for those that do.
I would recommend Riverview as an ideal place for a student straight from home, you will have instant friendships that will last a life time, you will gain local knowledge, have support from wonderful management as well as other housemates and most of all you will have lots of fun.

I lived at Riverview Heights for one year in 2002. I found that coming from home straight to Riverview Heights made the change of leaving friends and family a much easier transition. You are surrounded by new faces and immediately new friendships are formed.
My year at Riverview Heights was a great starting point for uni life. Not only do you have fun (all the time) but it is also a great environment for your studies to be done.
I found living at Riverview Heights a valuable and rewarding year as I made many close friends and gained independence that will stay with me forever.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself living there (Riverview Heights) and made friends who I still keep in contact with now ... Living in Sydney is fun, but not quite as relaxed and ‘homey’ as in Albury…Yet again thank you for all you have done for me.
From day one in Albury you helped me feel right at home.
